We are preparing to open registrations for everyone sometime next week. So far it's only been possible to post anonymously, but now anyone can create their own blog in Wrote.

To prepare for this change we have just updated our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. There aren't any major changes but we have clarified what information we gather from registered users. Your privacy is still our top priority and you don't have to give us any personal information. Even giving us your email address is completely optional.

Adding an email address in your personal settings has some benefits:

• you can reset a forgotten password, and
• we will notify you of important security events.

You can still blog anonymously like before, or you can register and claim your own personal space. Some of the main benefits of creating an account are discussed in a previous post.
